William "Willie" Franklin Jaye Cozad

William Franklin Jaye "Willie" Cozad, age 41, of Grants Pass, died December 30, 2022 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Hometown - Illinois Valley since 1984

William was born October 17, 1981 in San Bernardino, California. He lived in Crestline California with his mother Lori Cozad until he was 2 1/2 when they moved to Oregon in spring of 1984. He lived in southern Oregon from 1984 to 2022. He went to school in Cave Junction, Oregon. He became a father for the first time December 10 in 1998 when his oldest son Patrick was born. He was married to Melissa Martinho August 23 of 2003. They were married until February 2019. He had 9 more children from April 7, 2002 to October 28, 2014. He loved being outdoors, his work and hobbies included cutting wood and picking wild mushrooms and camping. He was always happiest when he was working. He loved his children very much, and was tragically taken too soon. He will be greatly missed by all that love him.

Children- Zachary Martinho, Jonathan Cozad, Daughter in Law Emma Cozad, Joshua Cozad, Julian Cozad, Zoe Cozad, and Austin Cozad of Claremore Oklahoma, Caitlynn Cozad and Cloe Cozad of Grants Pass Oregon and Isaac Withers of Illinois Valley Oregon.

Parents -Lori Cozad of Grants Pass Oregon.

Grandchildren- Joseph William Lee Cozad Of Claremore Oklahoma.

A viewing for William and Aaron will begin at 12:00 p.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m.
