William “Troy” Nicholson, age 65, of Grants Pass, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with a gathering immediately following.

Troy was born February 9, 1949 in Terra Bella, California. He was raised in Porterville, California and graduated from Porterville High School in 1967. He then studied Business Law at Porterville Junior College. In 1971 he moved to Grants Pass and for 35 years working in the RV industry including research, sales, coach conversions and manufacturing and design. He worked for Caveman Camper, Siskiyou RV and Oregon RV Outlet among others. In 2004 he retired to help care for his mother.
Troy was a member of the Church of Christ, Redwood Avenue.
His hobbies included riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, golfing, traveling the United States in his motor home, and visiting old west history.
Survivors include a daughter, Cinimint Nicholson Harper of Eugene, Oregon; a son, Steven Nicholson of Washougal, Washington; two sisters, Veda Yarington of Grants Pass, Oregon and Edith Nicholson of Grants Pass, Oregon; and five grandchildren.
