William Randall "Randy" Pickering

William Randall “Randy” Pickering, age 66, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at his home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Randy was born July 21, 1942 in Orange, California to Leslie A. & Hazel T. Pickering. In 1960 he graduated from Ventura High School. On April 27, 1964 in Ventura, California he married Margaret Hill. Randy worked in construction and logging in Northern California and Southern Oregon from 1961 to 1967. He then started Triangle Tractor, a heavy equipment business in Talent, Oregon. In 1972 the business and family moved to Grants Pass where Triangle Tractor continues to operate.

Randy enjoyed logging, road building, fabricating tractor attachments and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Pickering; a son, Ryan Pickering and wife, Cindy and a brother, Ross Pickering all of Grants Pass; and two grandchildren, Preston and Owen.
