William H.L. "Billy" Haney Jr.

Former Grants Pass resident, William H.L. “Billy” Haney Jr, age 34, of White City, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Billy was born August 2, 1976 in Grants Pass, Oregon to William Harold Haney Sr & Mary Marguerite Gulick Haney. He was raised in Grants Pass and graduated from Grants Pass High School. In 1996 he moved to Medford and eight years ago moved to White City. For the past ten years he worked for Fontana Roofing.

He especially enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Tanya Bost of White City, Oregon; two sons, William Haney and Skyler Haney both of Medford, Oregon; three daughters, Allyssa Haney, Ariel Moriarty, and Emily Bost all of White City, Oregon; his mother, Mary Hughes of Trail, Oregon; two sisters, LaDawn Wilhelm of Wilderville, Oregon and Terri Haney of Cave Junction, Oregon; three brothers, James McCue of Grants Pass, Oregon, Robert McCue of White City, Oregon, and Billy Haney of Goodyear, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Korina Haney in 1996; his father, William Haney Sr in 2005; and a sister, Sherri Haney in 2010.
