William G. Keith

William G. Keith, age 96, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Harmony Gardens Adult Foster Care Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Newman United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

He was born March 3, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Beulah Keith. On June 15, 1940 he married Virginia Aronson who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert H. Keith. He worked for A C Nielsen Company in Illinois and later moved to Hempstead, Long Island where he worked for Westinghouse Corporation. He retired and moved to Grants Pass in 1977.

Bill enjoyed his family, whether traveling across country to see them or hosting family reunions here in Grants Pass. He and Virginia traveled extensively in the United States and also visited Spain, Portugal and Sweden.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Wolf of Hunters, WA, Nancy Ito of Santa Rosa, CA, Kathy Bartels of Poway, CA and Linda Sanders of Grants Pass, OR. In addition he had nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
