Will Hunt died peacefully in his home at Oak Lane Retirement Community in November 2009.
A native of Greeley Colorado, Will earned his degrees in drama and theater at Colorado State University and the Pasadena Playhouse in Los Angeles, California.
He was a veteran of WWII, which was where he said he survived the most challenging acting job of his life by playing a fearless tough Marine in some of the bloodiest battles of the war.
Will continued his lifelong acting career by performing from New York to Hollywood on stage, television and in the movies. In his free time he designed and created beautiful and whimsical wood art pieces and wrote humorous short stories of his time at war.
Will is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kerry and Diana Hunt, son Robert Hunt, grandson’s Justin Johnston and William Hunt, step grandchildren Gina and Tony Gauer and great grand children Colton and Connor Gauer.
Military services will be held at 2PM Friday May 21st at Eagle Point National Cemetery. A celebration of his life and an “Ice cream social” will be held for friends and family on Saturday May 22 from 2PM to 4PM at the Allen Creek Estates clubhouse, 1086 Aspen Way, Grants Pass.
