Gerald Wayne Runyan, age 74, of Rogue River, died February 26, 2017 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1942 in Arlington, Texas to Amos Winfield Runyan & Lillian Viola (Spears) Runyan. For many years, he owned and operated his own agricultural trucking company. He lived in Eagle Point for nine years before moving to Rogue River one month ago.
His hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, and playing poker.
Survivors include five children, Bud Williams of Central Point, Oregon, Tammy Williams of Corona, California, Amy Runyan Espinosa of Payson, Arizona, Leona Runyan Rodriguez of Chandler, Arizona, and Larry Wayne Runyan of Rogue River, Oregon; three sisters, Wanda Runyan Ludwick of Texas, Patsy Runyan Morrison of Mesa, Arizona, Georgia Runyan Hoadley of Washington; two brothers, Sonny Runyan and Tommy Runyan both of Mesa, Arizona; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Family services will be held.
