Wayne E. Lutman

Wayne E. Lutman, age 70, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Hilt, California as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Wayne was a recent cancer survivor. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 W 6th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.

Wayne was born December 29, 1942 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Melvin & Florence (Neathamer) Lutman. He was raised in Grants Pass and attended Grants Pass High School class of 1960. From 1962 to 1964 he served in the United States Army. In 1984 in Reno, Nevada he married Joan C. Annino. For 26 years he worked as a hyster driver at Timber Products (Tim Ply) retiring in 2008.

His hobbies included hunting, camping, quad/atv riding, watching westerns on television, and playing pool.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Joan Lutman of Grants Pass, Oregon; five children, Stephanie and Richard both of Los Angeles, California, Teddi of Salem, Oregon, Chris of Sacramento, California, and Darlene of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, LaFlores of Folsom, California and Anna of Puyallup, Washington; two brothers, Lindsey of Grants Pass, Oregon and Curtis of Klamath Falls, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald in 2007.
