Warren David Smith

Warren David Smith, age 85, of Grants Pass, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 25, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Gregory Moys officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Warren was born July 11, 1922 in Spring City, Tennessee to James & Doshie Smith. From February 21, 1943 to December 22, 1945 he served in the United States Army during World War II. In 1946 in Detroit, Michigan he married Josephine Ouellette. In 1990 they moved to Grants Pass.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and cars.

In addition to his wife, Josephine Smith of Grants Pass; he is survived by two daughters, Pamela Baron of Portland and MayJo D. Smith of Caro, Michigan; a brother, Perry Smith of Tennessee; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Smith and Patrick Pillon.
