Wanda L. Larsen

Wanda L. Larsen, age 90, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Provolt Community Church with Pastor Russ Gibson officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Missouri Flat Cemetery for those who wish to attend. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born November 19, 1917 in Garden Grove, California. She grew up and attended schools in Southern California. She met Oscar J. Larsen and they were married on October 18, 1937. In 1955 the family moved from Anaheim, California to Murphy on North Applegate Road, where she and Oscar lived ever since.

She was an active member of Provolt Community Church for 30 years. She loved Jesus. She helped with Child Evangelism for years and also helped support different TV ministries.

She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed doing yardwork and was a competitive bowler. She loved photography and was an avid picture taker.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Lee Sandquist and Sharon Kay Bunch both of Grants Pass; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Oscar on December 5, 1993; and her two sons, John Richard Larsen and David Allen Larsen.
