Walter Ward Jr, age 82, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Ashley Manor in Grants Pass, Oregon.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 136 Nevada Street, Klamath Falls Oregon 97601. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Walter was born October 28, 1929 in Crowell Texas to William & Elsie Ward (Worley). On November 17, 1985 in Bakersfield, California he married Linda Massey. He retired from Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after 27 years of service as a cook. Seven years ago he moved from Ukiah, California to Klamath Falls, Oregon.
He was a member of NRA (National Rifle Association) and also of OHA (Oregon Hunters Association) for seven years.
He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ward of Klamath Falls, Oregon; a son Matthew Ward of Lake County, California; a stepdaughter, Alice Monk of Ukiah, California; a brother, Norman “Bud” Ward of Healdsburg, California; two step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William Walter Ward and Elsie Fay (Worley) Ward and a stepson, Doyle Curtis Wilkinson.
