Vivian M. Johnson

Vivian M. Johnson, age 93, of Galice, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at her home.

A visitation will be held between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Galice Community Hall. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

One of eight children, Vivian was born August 6, 1915 at Sublimity, Oregon to Albert & Mary
Welter. On January 31, 1938 she married Merle Johnson who died on December 28, 1995. She lived in Galice since 1964 and prior to that lived in Glendale, Oregon.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading and was an Oregon Duck football fan.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Johnson, two grandchildren, Jodi and Judi Johnson, one great-grandson, and one sister, Marge Hennebeck of Medford, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle and her six brothers.
