Virginia M. Morehead

Virginia M. Morehead was born in Spokane, Washington, on November 17, 1925. She died on December 24, 2020.
At a young age, Virginia, her parents, Edwin and Maude (Clay) Lovell, and brother William Lovell, moved to Medford, Oregon. She graduated from Medford High School in 1943.
On September 29, 1946 she married James D. Morehead. They were married for 71 years, until Jim's death in 2017.
She is survived by her 5 children, Jan Dietz, Eugene, Oregon, Gretchen Hastings and Dawn Ferguson, Grants Pass, Oregon, Gus Morehead, Selma, Oregon, and Charlie Morehead of Talent, Oregon; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a member of The Rogue Valley Handweaver's Guild, the Grants Pass spinning group "Warped, Twisted, and Plyed" and sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha.
Although she had to endure the cruelties of dementia, she never lost her sweet spirit.
