Virginia Louise "Vi" Skurk

Virginia Louise “Vi” Skurk, age 85, of Grants Pass, died Monday, February 4, 2008 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Vi was born July 19, 1922 in Medicine Bow, Wyoming. In 1963 she moved from California to Cave Junction were she owned and operated a flower shop. For most of her life she was a homemaker. In 2003 she moved to Grants Pass.

She was active in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cave Junction.

Survivors include a niece, Cheryl Sheldon of Arroyo Grande, California and a nephew, Fred Richards of Southport, Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Skurk on August 11, 1972.
