Virginia E. Crandall, age 98, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Trinity Foster Home.
Private services will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
Virginia was born May 19, 1916 in Waterloo, Iowa to William & Clara Snyder. She graduated from East High School in Waterloo in 1934. In 1935, she married Archie Burton Crandall and they made their home in Waterloo for 20 years. They moved from Waterloo to Southern California in 1946, and later lived in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California for 40 years. In 2004, Virginia moved with her family to Victorville, California and in June of 2008, she moved to Grants Pass.
Virginia retired from ITT-Gilfillan, in Azusa, California.
Virginia’s hobbies included traveling, making jewelry, cross-stitch, and dancing. She loved life and lived it well and to its fullest.
Survivors include three children, Ruth Ann Ozuna of Rancho Mirage, California, Robert Crandall of Grants Pass, Oregon and James Crandall of Las Vegas, Nevada; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Burton Crandall.
