Vicki Lynn Mott

Vicki Lynn Mott, age 62, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Hirsch officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Vicki was born February 13, 1949 in Crookston, Minnesota to Leroy & Blanche Hanson. In 1967 she graduated from Cupertino High School. She was a waitress at several restaurants in the San Jose, California area. On May 3, 1981 in San Jose she married John Mott. She moved to Grants Pass in 1986 and for 13 years worked for Hematology Oncology Associates.

Her memberships included the Emblem Club and the Scandinavian Club both in Grants Pass.

She especially enjoyed reading, walking and riding her bicycle.

In addition to her husband, John Mott of Grants Pass, Oregon; Vicki is survived by two daughters, Jodi Sarmento of Grants Pass, Oregon and Tracie Bunyan-Massei of Cupertino, California; four stepdaughters, Toni Stone of Fort Collins, Colorado, Carolyn Long of Grants Pass, Oregon, Lynnette Parvu of Tracy, California and Debra Carrier of Sacramento, California; two stepsons, John Mott Jr. of Cottonwood, California and James Mott of Sacramento, California; her mother, Blanche Hanson of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Sandra Dolby and a brother, Dayton Hanson both of Grants Pass, Oregon; four grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
