Vester Cogburn

Vester “Pee Wee” Cogburn, age 79, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at his home.

A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, November 25, 2007at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Grants Pass. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

He was born Vester Leon Cogburn September 9, 1928 in Norman, Arkansas to William & Lula Cogburn, He was a resident of Josephine County for over 60 years and lived in both Cave Junction and Grants Pass. Many of these years included being a local log truck driver. He will be remembered for his smile and sense of humor.

He is survived by two daughters, Donna Starr of Granite Bay, California and Rhonda Lyons of Sunnyside, Washington; a sister,Flora; and two grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Viola Cogburn and grandson, Jared Starr.
