Velma Berniece Crow, age 98, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Spring Pointe.
A memorial service will be at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Central Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lloyd Drive. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Velma was born October 10, 1914 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Ray & Mary Converse. She lived in Downey, California until moving to Grants Pass in 1984.
For 49 years, Velma was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and for the past 28 years a member of the Central Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She loved to travel with her friend, Faye Ferguson and she loved her cat.
Survivors include five granddaughters, Melinda Garrett of Grants Pass, Oregon, Valerie Crow of Bradenton, Florida, Kathleen, Jennifer, and Becky Ressler; three grandsons, David, Mark, and James Ressler; a son-in-law, Dick Ressler of Orange, California; and a great-grandson, Zack Margolios.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Emery Crow on December 1, 2000 and a daughter, Virginia Kay Ressler on February 9, 2012.
