Van Camp, age 75, of O’Brien, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her home.
Private interment will be at Laurel Cemetery in Cave Junction. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Van was born March 12, 1937 in Lafe, Arkansas to William & Rose Jones. She worked as a switchboard operator at Loma Linda Hospital in Loma Linda, California. She moved from Loma Linda to Cave Junction 38 years ago.
Van was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cave Junction.
She especially enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband, James Camp of O’Brien, Oregon; a daughter, Jamie Camp of O’Brien, Oregon; a sister, Bonnie Lasby of Highland, California; a brother, Robert Jones of Henderson, Nevada; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Allen Camp in 1968.
