Typhoid Ponali

Typhoid Ponali, age 64, of Grants Pass, died December 30, 2018 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.



He was born February 9, 1954 in Utulei, American Samoa. In 2009 he moved from California to Grants Pass.



Survivors include his wife, Telesia Ponali; two sons, Tyrone Ponali and Michael Ponali; and two grandchildren all of Grants Pass.



He was preceded in death by his son, Leationio Sam Ponali in 2010; sister, Tali Ponali Corum in 2018; and brother, Fesuiga Tulifuatele.



A viewing will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.



A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. A gathering with food and fellowship will be immediately following. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
