Tina Whorley, age 55, of Grants Pass, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.
She was born Evelyn Marie Edgell-Carney on July 14, 1960 in Wheeling, West Virginia. She moved with her family to California and in 1978 graduated from Canoga Park High School. In 1983 she moved from California to Grants Pass and in 1985 she married Larry Whorley. For several years she worked at Lil Pantry in Merlin.
Tina loved to fish, hike, hunt, and camp. She also loved the Rogue River and listening to music, especially Elvis and Janis Joplin.
Survivors include two sons, Jess Whorley and Jason Whorley both of Grants Pass; her mother, Evelyn Carney of Apache Junction, Arizona; a sister, Mary Carney of West Hills, California; and a brother, Edward Carney of Oxnard, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Whorley in 2009 and a brother, “Billy” Joseph Edgell-Carney in 2008.
Services are pending with Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
