Timothy Austin Arganbright, age 60, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Parkway Christian Center. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 15, 1949 in Santa Monica, California. He grew up in La Crescenta, California. After high school graduation in La Crescenta he served in the United States Army Reserves. He also attended Columbia Broadcasting School in Hollywood. He moved from Southern California to Cave Junction 25 years ago. Two years later he moved to Grants Pass and began working at KAJO where he was well known for his radio voice as “Tim Austin.”
His hobbies included fishing and golfing and he was known for his sense of humor.
Survivors include a daughter, Lindsay Arganbright of Grants Pass; his parents, Dell & Mary Arganbright of Corona Del Mar, California; and two brothers, Stephen Arganbright of Redding, California and Paul Arganbright of Santa Barbara, California.
