Theresia Marie "Terri" Moran-Harwood

Theresia Marie 'Terri' Moran-Harwood, age 86, of Cave Junction, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 at The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cave Junction. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Terri was born September 30, 1928 in Czechoslovakia to Georg & Theresia Fretschner. In 1948 she came to the United States as a war bride from Germany. On October 6, 1962, after the death of her husband, she married Edward A Moran. In 1971 she moved from Norco, California to Cave Junction. Edward passed away on January 14, 1979. On November 19, 1986 she married Tad Harwood in Klamath, California.

She was extremely active in the Illinois Valley community. Terri, with the help of Tad, ran the local Food Bank program for over 30 years. In addition to the Dorcas Society, she was involved with helping the community during emergencies.

She was a wonderful person and will be missed by her family and community.
Survivors include her husband, Tad Harwood of Cave Junction; a daughter, Terrie Reum of Grants Pass and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sons; an infant and William John Moran, as well as a brother and a sister.
