Thelma Lorraine Stark

Our beloved Thelma Stark, age 90, of Grants Pass, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at her home. She has left us to be with God in Heaven.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2009, at Hull & Hull Chapel with a gathering to follow. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Thelma Lorraine, loving wife of Raymond G. Stark was born in London Ontario Canadaon November 24, 1918 to Mr. & Mrs. G.W. Richman. Her family moved to Kitchener Ontario Canada, where she met her future husband. A marriage that started on December 24th1937, in the family home was enjoyed for 71 very wonderful years. This special marriage was blessed with 5 children, 4 sons and 1 daughter. In 1958 the family moved to Southern California. Thelma was a medical transcriber and accountant until she retired. In 1988 they moved to Grants Pass, Oregon.

Thelma loved to knit, read, play board games, and travel with family. Thelma and Ray volunteered together for 19 years at Three Rivers Hospital. Their loving relationship, including their enjoyment of dressing alike, was evident to everyone that knew and loved them.

Thelma will be sorely missed by her loving husband, children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-children, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with extended family and their many wonderful friends.
