Thelma G. Green

Thelma G. Green, age 100, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Thelma was born in Wheeler County, Nebraska. She attended Western Oregon College and the University of Oregon and taught school in the Veneta and Crow school districts for many years.

Besides her family and friends her interests included scrapbooking, photo albums, family tree and crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and maintained a strong interest in world affairs. Her faith was non-denominational Christian.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gale and Gloria Green; two granddaughters, Karen and husband, Rick and Angela and friend, Mark; three great-grandchildren, Logan and friend Lindy, Trinity and Cassidy and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother and seven sisters.
