Terrie P. Miller, age 62, of Cave Junction, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at her home after a long battle with Lupus.
Private family services will be held. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Terrie was born March 29, 1949 in Martinez, California to Paul & Martha Nelson. In 1967 she graduated from Richmond High School. She raised her family as a single parent until she met Bill Miller in 1986 and married him on Halloween 1987. In 1992 she moved from Livermore, California to Cave Junction, Oregon where she converted her ceramic hobby into a business, “Sugah ’T’ Ceramics” specializing in wildlife.
Terrie was a member of the Daughters of the Golden West and the Teamsters Union.
She volunteered with Lovejoy Hospice, Illinois Valley Children’s Alliance, IV Safe House Alliance and the Humane Society.
Terrie loved ceramics.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Miller of Cave Junction; a daughter, Kimberly Ebert of Cave Junction; two grandsons, Brandon Ebert and Chris Bastos, both of Cave Junction; a granddaughter, Martha Spivey of Manteca, California; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Lynn Robbins of San Pablo, California; and a stepdaughter, Tami Anderson of Rocklin, California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and several dear friends from grade school.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
