Teresa Catherine Englen

Teresa C. Englen age 90 went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2017. Teresa was born in Norwich Connecticut, Married Donald W. Englen on June 2, 1945. They lived in Vallejo CA, Long Beach CA, Aptos CA, Apple Valley CA and were married for 55 years before Donald’s passing on November 10, 2000. In 2001 she moved to Grants Pass Oregon to live the next 17 years with her son and his wife.

Teresa had a passion for many things but her greatest was in the garden. Her talents led to many topiary creations from giraffes to trains. Other talents were painting, calligraphy and needlepoint. At near 50 Teresa returned to school and graduated as a LVN nurse working at Watsonville hospital until moving to Apple Valley, CA.

Donald and Teresa are survived by 9 children, daughter Donna Simi (Clovis, CA), son Darcy Englen (Grants Pass, OR), son Damion Englen (Clearfield, UT), daughter Desiree Dempsey (Grants Pass, OR), son Darren Englen (Bennet, CO), son Domonic Englen (San Jose, CA), son Brian Englen (Chino Hills, CA), son Darius Englen (Grants Pass, OR), daughter Deardra Cline (Santa Cruz, CA)

They also are survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren (additional 2 on the way) with one grandchild preceding them in death.



A memorial service will be held at Hull & Hull Funeral Home on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM
