Telvina "Sally" Ann Nunn Wilkins

Telvina “Sally” Ann Nunn Wilkins, age 94, of Grants Pass, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Sally was born May 15, 1920 in Lisbon, Portugal. She traveled to America with her family when she was a small child. She grew up in Vallejo, California and graduated from Vallejo High School where she met and married Carl Earl Nunn. They retired and moved to Oregon and made their new home on a ranch in the Applegate Valley. Carl passed away on November 28, 1982. She later met and married Melvin Wilkins and lived in Jacksonville, Oregon.

Sally was an active member of the Christian Woman’s Club and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and reading.

Sally’s family has been blessed to have her in their lives for 94 years for the love she gave them and the gift of joy she brought into their lives.

Survivors include two children, Ron Nunn and Dennis Nunn both of Grants Pass, Oregon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Rose Lee of Medford, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Nunn; her second husband, Melvin Wilkins; and her sister, Nozare Alexander.
