Ted Stolarczyk, age 62, of Sunny Valley, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at his home.
A memorial mass will be at 12 Noon, Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father William Holtzinger officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Ted was born September 12, 1949 in Wildflecken, Germany to Jan & Bernice Stolarczyk. He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated from Cathedral Latin High School in 1967 and from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies in 1973. On November 1, 1968 in Monroe, Michigan he married Laura Lias. He moved to Long Beach, California in 1973 and then to Oregon in 1977. For 33 years he lived in Sunny Valley. Ted worked for several years for the Josephine County Council on Alcohol and then from 1991 to 1997 owned and operated Decisions Alcohol and Drug Counseling. In 1999 he started working for Stepping Stones Residential Services until 2008 when he became an independent contractor.
Ted was a member of the Cathedral Latin alumni. For many years he volunteered his time with the Grants Pass Youth Soccer Club and also volunteered by taking Stepping Stones residents to Concerts in the Park, St. Anne Catholic Church on Sundays, Boatnik events, and various other community activities.
Ted was a sports fan and enjoyed watching and supporting the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and the Oregon Ducks. His hobbies included gardening, traveling, joking, reading, music, his three dachshunds, cooking, and polish traditions. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons and his family.
In addition to his wife, Laura Stolarczyk of Sunny Valley, Oregon; he is survived by two sons, Craig Stolarczyk of San Francisco, California and Scott Stolarczyk of Eugene, Oregon; his mother, Bernice Stolarczyk of Brunswick, Ohio; two sisters, Kristin Hanover of Boston, Massachusetts and Barbara Harpster of Brunswick, Ohio; a brother, John Stolarczyk of Brunswick, Ohio; and four grandsons, Simon, Christene, Sebastian, and Connor.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Stolarczyk of Cleveland, Ohio.
