Susan Lynn Noah, 55, died Saturday, Aug. 3, of pneumonia at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass. Her family was with her.
Susie was born Oct. 1, 1963, to Fred and Fern Noah in Grants Pass and was raised on Savage Creek with much love and care. Born with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities, she needed total support, but she was able to attend school at Rogue River until she turned 18.
When her parents could no longer care for her, Susie moved into the Bridge Street House with Southern Oregon Aspire, where she was given loving, compassionate, skillful care. The women at Bridge Street stayed with her during her final days, sharing stories and laughter with her and her family.
She is survived by her brother, John; sister and her husband, Cathy Noah and Mark Freeman; and five nieces and nephews.
A private burial with family is planned at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, where her mother and father are buried.
