Steven Lukas-Dean Hart, age 16 months, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Grants Pass.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Burman officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Steven was born on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009 (8 lb 6 oz, 21.5” long) in Grants Pass. His nicknames were Boo-Boo Monkey, Buddha, and Lil’ Man.

His favorite thing was to make everyone smile and because of this, he touched their hearts. He loved the park especially swinging and playing with his brother and Chihuahua dog, Pedro. He also loved to watch WWE wrestling with his daddy. His favorite characters and toys were Mickey Mouse, Elmo, monkeys, trains, and hot wheels. He had a collection of over 100 hot wheels given to him by family and friends. His favorite colors were hot pink, purple, and red. Steven recently mastered walking after monkey walking. He enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Elmo’s World, and Jane & The Dragon. His favorite foods were multi-grain cheerios, strawberry yogurt, and whatever his mom and dad were eating. He disliked mashed potatoes, wearing shoes, bananas, and foreign accents. He liked retractable Walmart employee name badges.

Steven is survived by his mother, Juanita Butz and his father, Patrick Hart both of Grants Pass; two sisters, Abby Hart of Jerome, Idaho and LeAna Hart of Grants Pass; a brother, Matthew Weber of Grants Pass; grandmothers, Jeannette Butz of Grants Pass and Marilyn Hart of Jerome, Idaho; grandfather, Rick Keefer of Grants Pass; uncle, Albert “Unc” Butz of Grants Pass; two aunts, Britney Stanton of Merlin and Racheal Morgan of Grants Pass; great-aunts, Megan Schwartz, Rene Stark, and Erin Humphrey all of Grants Pass; great-uncle Matthew Humphrey of Grants Pass; great-grandparents, Julene “JuJu” & Jim Garcia of Grants Pass; and godmother, Andrea Lengel of Grants Pass.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Suzi Butz on January 17, 2010.
