Stephen Patrick Valley, age 53, of Rogue River, went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2017.
Moving from Santa Barbara, California, two years ago with his mother, Snowfox Walkingshaw, he brought with him his love for music, drawing and a passion for making jewelry. Stephen is the creative genius behind FIREHORSE Designs, handcrafting many beautiful Native American necklaces. His love for life and nature shine through many of these pieces and his sweet spirit will live on through them.
As a child growing up in the Ventura, California area, Stephen will be remembered by his fun personality and his amazing athletic talents in baseball and football.
He is survived by his parents, Snowfox M. Walkingshaw of Rogue River, Oregon and Gregory (Janice) Valley of Sacramento, California; siblings, Michael (Sheri) Valley of Camarillo, California, Kimberly Fien (Ron) of Grants Pass, Oregon, Christina Valley of Bakersfield, California, Jamie Jasper (Curtis) of San Andreas, California and Jodie Arceo (Paul) of Sacramento, California.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 when the family gathered and honored Stephen’s beautiful life with recordings of his music, personal artwork and jewelry. Precious stories and words of Hope were spoken by family members throughout the celebration.
Our Stephen is in the cradle of our Savior’s arms.
