Stacey A. Deters

Stacey A. Deters, 48, of Cave Junction, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Rogue Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 14, 1969, in San Pablo, California, to James & JoAnn Scroggins. She moved to Cave Junction in 1993, where she worked as a correctional officer for Pelican Bay State Prison and began raising a family.

She is survived by her children Karley Deters, 24, Emily Deters, 22 and Jacob Deters, 14; her siblings Sheila Burns and Jaime Scroggins; as well as her parents James & JoAnn Scroggins.

Stacey was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.

Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Illinois Valley Senior Center in Cave Junction, Oregon.
