Sid P. Nancarrow, age 89, of Grants Pass, died June 30, 2018 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.
Sid was born March 1, 1929 in Glendale, California to Sydney & Miriam (Eddy) Nancarrow. In 1947 he graduated from Glendale High School. In 1950 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in La Crescenta, California he married Annabel Zarrs. He started his own soft water service business in 1959 which he owned and operated until 1975 when he sold the business. At that time, he went to work for a restaurant chain in charge of new construction and remodels. In 1988 he moved from Santa Barbara, California to Grants Pass.
Sid’s hobbies included boating, water skiing, gardening, and traveling in his motorcoach.
Survivors include his wife, Annabel L. Nancarrow of Grants Pass; two daughters, Linda Lee Pejsa of Parker, Colorado and Cheryl Lynn Brown of Selma, Oregon; five grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, David Nancarrow.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hills. Entombment will immediately follow.
Remembrances may be made to Calvary Chapel or Samaritans Purse.
