Shirley D. Sullivan, age 81, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her home.
A memorial service will be held in California. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was born June 19, 1933 in Pratt, Kansas to Wilford & Iva Eoff. She attended school in Elk Grove, California. In February 1959 she started work as a customer service ticket agent for United Airlines where she worked for 25 years while living in Carmichael, California. In 1976 in Carmichael she married Oather “Len” Sullivan. In 1985 the couple moved to Boise, Idaho and later to Spokane , Washington. In 1993 they moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho where they built a beautiful home. In 1997 they moved from Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Grants Pass to be closer to their family and friends.
Shirley’s passion was first and foremost her family. An avid reader, Shirley also enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, sewing, traveling to Mexico and talking on the telephone with her family and friends to stay in touch. She is notorious for sending birthday cards of which they will be sorely missed.
Shirley love was unconditional to all.
Survivors include her husband, Len Sullivan of Grants Pass, Oregon; a daughter, Lorri Wells of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, James K. Sullivan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two stepdaughters, Marcia Elliott of Pleasant Valley, California and Jayne Miller of Bonita, California; two brothers, Donny Maynard and Larry Maynard both of Elk Grove, California; two sisters, Carolyn Scroggin of Carmichael, California and Linda Ghormley of Sacramento, California; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was a fantastic mother and grandmother.
