Sherry Lou Hetzler

Sherry Hetzler, age 76, of Grants Pass, died January 12, 2022 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

Sherry was born October 9, 1945 in Tacoma, Washington to George & Hilda Tuthill. In 1963 she graduated from Seward High School in Seward, Alaska. She survived the 1964 Alaska earthquake. In 1988 she moved from St. Helens, Oregon to Grants Pass. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Highland House and Royale Gardens mostly in the memory care units until her retirement.

Her hobbies included reading, gardening, and crocheting.

Survivors include daughter Diane Underwood of Grants Pass; brother Steve Tuthill of Texas; six grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
