Sheri Lynne Harrington-Pool

September 24, 1957 — April 19, 2013

24 Sep 1957-19 Apr 2013

Sheri Lynne Harrington-Pool of Grants Pass died Friday April 19th, 2013. No formal services are planned at this time.

Sheri was born Sep 24th 1957 in Mason City Iowa to James and Donna Harrington. The family moved to Southern California in 1960 and to the Southern Oregon area in 1968. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1975 and in May of 1976 began her most cherished job of being a mother when her daughter was born. Sheri worked in the school district before becoming a stay-at-home mom, then a deli and bakery manager, and finally doing financing for the mobile home industry. On April 1st 2001 she married her soul mate Charles M. Pool.

With a deep love of the beach, she found peace walking barefoot on the sand and watching waves crash on the shore. She adored animals and her home was never without the company of a family dog. Throughout the years she was an avid hunter more often taking pictures of elk and deer than bringing home the prize. She also enjoyed sewing, Cowboy Action Shooting, and sharing stories with people throughout the world on Facebook. She had a smile that would light up any room, she found humor in almost any situation, and she had unmatched strength through any difficulty. Sheri had such amazing unconditional love and gave to others more than she ever received. Because of this she was loved by all who came in contact with her and especially by her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband Chuck; daughters Cathryn, Natalie (Sam), and Loretta (Justin); nieces Elizabeth (Jon), Ashley (Jeromy), and Donna Ann (Alan); nephews Jim (Kiley) and James; sister Christine (Mike); and brothers Don (La’Naie) and Rory (Deni), mother Donnajean Harrington, and Grandmother Edith Walsh

She was preceded in death by her father James Richard Harrington and son Kenny.
