Sharon Edith Carroll

Sharon Edith Carroll, age 63, of Grants Pass, died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Private services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Sharon was born November 3, 1948 in Grants Pass to Virginia & Robert Marcus Sr. She was raised in Grants Pass and graduated from Grants Pass High School where she was active in the marching band. After high school she married and had four children. She was a homemaker and later helped raise her grandchildren.

Sharon volunteered at a local community center with the homeless.

She loved reading books, watching NASCAR racing, playing backgammon, gardening, going on day trips to the ocean withTen Mile Beach being her favorite.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Rose of Grants Pass, Oregon; two daughters, Rhonda Rose of North San Juan, California and Carey Rose of Merlin, Oregon; three brothers, Bill Marcus of San Diego, California, Bob Marcus of Whidbey Island, Washington and Noel Marcus of Merlin, Oregon; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her husband Robert Carroll and a daughter, Rebecca Rose.
