Sandra Ruth Males

Sandra Ruth Males, age 68, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Rogue Regional Medical Center.

No services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Sandra was born October 1, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Leonard & Mary Fuller. She graduated from high school in Long Beach, California. On January 9, 1974 in Long Beach she married Bob Males. She was a homemaker and raised her children before going to work as a sales clerk in various stores. She moved from Borger, Texas to Grants Pass 11 years ago.

Her hobbies included raising flowers, embroidery, sewing tea towels and pillowcases, and other crafts. She loved to read.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Males of Grants Pass; two sons, David Farley of Silver City, New Mexico and Richard Farley of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Audrea Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; her mother, Mary Cadero of Grants Pass, Oregon; three sisters, Debra Fuller of Tucson, Arizona, Patricia Cadero Somers of Boise, Idaho and Teresa Cadero Martinez of Grants Pass, Oregon; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Connor Blankenship in 2009.
