Sally Adling Barker, age 67, of Grants Pass, died October 15, 2021.

Sally was born October 7, 1954 in Maywood, California to Walter Adling and Rose Maurene Bean Adling. Her first home was in Norwalk, California, living with her parents and three older siblings who called her “our little princess.” Her mom made her a lavender dress that had “Angel” on the front of it and they loved their precious Angel. She would dance to any music she heard.

Sally also lived in Oregon, Washington state, California and Arkansas where she married Richard Miles. After a divorce, she married Charles “Chuck” Botean in New Mexico and they later moved to Mesa, Arizona. In Arizona she worked as a surgical nurse with a cardiologist. After a divorce, she married the love of her life Leroy Barker. They were married for 30 years and adopted two children.

Christmas was her favorite holiday and she would invite her sisters family every year to celebrate. She took voice lessons and had a beautiful voice. She loved playing the guitar, piano, and was very musically inclined and loved to sing and perform in plays at a theatre.

Sally was raised in the Catholic church, but later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include husband Leroy Barker; children Kristina Barker and David Barker; siblings Paul Adling, Linda Corbridge, Nina Rainwater, and Eric Glen Adling; stepmother Arradien May Davidson; stepsiblings William Lacy, David Lacy, Clifford Lacy, and Kathleen Carder.

She was preceded in death by half siblings Anthony Barton, Laurence Barton and Roseanna Baroni; and stepbrother Steven Lacy.
