Ryan Powell Harmon

Ryan Powell Harmon, 49, passed away due to Alzheimer’s on Sunday November 14, 2021.

Ryan was born in Lakeview, Oregon to Harry Dallas Harmon and Janice Ann Creel (nee Stone) on May 12, 1972. He was the baby brother to 2 brothers and one sister. Ryan attended Lakeview, Oregon schools and graduated from Corning High School in Corning CA in 1993. Ryan loved country music, singing Karaoke, strumming his guitar, horses and WWF wrestling.

He loved to participate in special Olympic events such as basketball, baseball, track and bowling. Bowling was his favorite. Ryan worked at Sparc Enterprises recycling, and Climate City Brewery. He attended day camp at Southern Oregon Aspire and really enjoyed it. Ryan had a heart of gold, he loved helping out whenever he could and he loved hugging people. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He spent his last years in the NEVA foster home in Grants Pass, Oregon with John, Donna, Warren and Tom. He loved them dearly and they were his family.

Ryan is survived by one sister: Robin Savage (Husband Robin), two sisters-in-law: Linda Harmon and Cid Morgan, three nephews: Tyler Mathews (Wife Sheree), Dustin Mathews (Wife Amanda), Logan Harmon and one niece: Casandra McMorries (Husband Brennan). 12 great nieces and nephews: Arya, Evelyn, Tesla, Jace, Dusty, Karson, Paityn, Weston, Lane, Lorelei, Connor and Fallon.

He was preceded in death by his parents H.D. Harmon and Janice Creel, and his two brothers Robert and Randall Harmon.
Ryan’s ashes will be laid to rest in early summer of 2022 at West Side Cemetery in Lakeview, Oregon. He will be joining his two brothers and his mother.
