Ryan Ernest Campbell, age 38, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
Ryan was born December 11, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Grants Pass, Oregon where he started school and later moved to Prospect where he graduated from high school in 1998. He went on to attend ITT Electronics in Portland, Oregon until 2000 when he enlisted in the United States Navy. Ryan served aboard the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier which carried the first fighter jet to strike Afghanistan in retaliation of 9-11. He was also a Seabee and was on multiple tours of duty. After serving his country, Ryan returned home to the Rogue Valley. In 2008 he moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona to be near his older brother, Rich, where he worked as an air conditioning and electronics technician.
Ryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and most of all just making his daughter smile.
Ryan is survived by his loving daughter, Madison Campbell (age 8); his parents, Sue and George Peterson; brother, Rich Campbell; many aunts, uncles, cousins; very very dear to him grandparents, Donn & Katie Campbell; and half-brothers and half-sisters.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at New Beginnings Christian Center, 270 W Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Private interment will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
