Ruth Marie Blount

Ruth Marie Blount, age 88, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 12, 1921 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 2003 she moved from Concord, California to Grants Pass.

She was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Begley of Concord, California and Cheryl Reed of Cody, Wyoming; a son, Clyde Blount of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Hilda Schmidt of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
