Ruby Martin, 92, formerly of Grants Pass, went home to be with her Savior on Christmas morning December 25, 2011 at her home in Medford.
She was born in Pleasanton, Nebraska on July 21, 1919 to James and Sadie Hendrickson.
She married Robert Martin of Rogue River in 1939. He died in 1980.
They, along with other family members, operated Martin's Modern Dairy in Grants Pass, where the Grants Pass Shopping Center now stands. After a move to Rogue River, they settled in Cave Junction in 1950. They along with George and Opal Martin raised and showed Registered Holstein dairy cows.
She is survived by children, Norma (Wesley) Mansfield, Yakima, WA, Roberta ( Philip) Claudson and Carole (Perry) Allen of Medford and Robert (Lisa) Martin of Seattle, 14 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was an active member of the Cave Junction Community Bible Church for 43 years, and her later years at Grace Church of Central Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers, Elmer and Cecil.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Grace Church of Central Point, 100 Oak Street (corner of 1st and Oak). She was laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Grants Pass on December 28, 2011.
