Ruby J. Priess

Ruby J. Priess, age 90, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Highland House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Memorial services will be held at Spring Village.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

She was born Ruby Jaunette Brashier to William and Effie (Campbell) Brashier on December 21, 1917 in Milburn, Oklahoma. On June 21, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada she married Walter Lawrence Priess who preceded her in death. In 2005 Ruby moved from Banning, California to Grants Pass.

As a Jehovah’s Witness Ruby enjoyed Bible Study. She especially loved her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula D. Farris of Grants Pass; sister, Geraldine Palczski of Victorville, California; three brothers, Ronald Brashier of Long Beach, California, Charles Brashier of Perris, California, and Leo Brashier of North Carolina; and eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Sue Stephenson; three sons, Jackie, Rudon, and Jimmy Max Stephenson; two sisters, Nadine Grady and Barbara McCormick; and five brothers, Donald, Paul, Cornelius “C.J.”, James “J.V.”, and Lester Brashier.
