Roy Wood

Roy Trueman Wood, age 80, of Rogue River, died July 27, 2019 at his home.

Roy was born November 3, 1938 in Arcola, Illinois. He was a professional gambler and card dealer. In 2007 he moved from Reno and Las Vegas to Rogue River.

Roy loved to walk in the mountains and explore old miner’s camps. Every year he would meticulously hunt mushrooms just to give them to others for their joy.

Survivors include sisters Roxy Haworth and Cheri Colston; and brother Art Colston.
