Roy F. Lamb, age 84, of Grants Pass, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at his home three days shy of his 85th birthday.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at New Hope Bible Church with Pastor Lowell Stutzman officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 31 W 6th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.

Roy was born September 6, 1927 in Puyallup, Washington. After graduating from high school in 1945 he served in the United States Navy until 1946 when he was honorably discharged. He owned and operated a log truck since he was 18 years old and retired in 1991. In 1947 in Dallas, Oregon he married Elizabeth Neufeld. In 1955 they moved from Salem, Oregon to Grants Pass. Just this year they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Roy was a member of New Hope Bible church.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, RVing, working in his shop, metal fabrication and welding.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Lamb; two sons, Dennis Lamb and wife Debbie and Bruce Lamb and wife Cindie; a daughter Debra Lamb; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Studer and Edith Rhoten; a brother, Billy Lamb and his mother, Edna C. Lamb.
