Rosemarie Hansen, 81, of Gold Hill, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Russ Millsaps officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born on October 12, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1945 she graduated from Stowe High School in Mc Kees Rocks, Pennsylvania. In 1947 she married Oscar Chahine and they raised four children. They were divorced in 1973. On December 20, 1974 in Chapel of the Chimes she married Robert Warren Hansen, who preceded her in death on August 11, 1998. She moved from Brookings to Gold Hill four years ago.
She was a member of a Ladies Card Group, Tops and the Elks Club in Brookings.
Rose enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and going to socials with her friends. She also enjoyed crafts and painting. Rose lived a full and active life and enjoyed life to its fullest with her friend of many years Clarence Benjamin. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Paulette Rodgers of Mesa, Arizona; her son, Jody Chahine of Danville, California; her sister, Evelyn Douty of Atlantic City, New Jersey; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; sons, David and Rodney Chahine and her brother Bill Nardo.
