Ronnie Grant Alexander, age 57, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
Ronnie was born April 21, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona to Ross & Dorothy Alexander. In 1956 he moved with his family to Springfield, Oregon where he attended Briggs Junior High and then Thurston High School. In 1968 he moved to Alaska where he worked on the Alaskan Pipeline as a truck driver. In 1978 he returned to Oregon and lived in Grants Pass where he also worked as a truck driver. He spent most of 2010 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Ronnie was an avid Oregon Duck fan. He also loved fishing, hunting, and any other outdoor activities. His first grandchildren will be born in January.
Survivors include two sons, Grant Alexander of Fernley, Nevada and Gregg Alexander of Grants Pass, Oregon; and his father, Ross Grant Alexander of Grants Pass, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Alexander and a brother, Tony Daniel Alexander.
