Ronald Rasmussen

Ronald Edward Rasmussen, age 75, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away peacefully at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and close friends. It was sudden and unexpected. Ron was born January 23, 1948 in Riverside, California.

Ron was loved and known by many in the Rogue Valley and will be remembered for his love for Jesus, family, friends, music, gardening, wood working, wearing tie-dye shirts, and riding free on his Harley.  He led many musical jams at local venues.  His passions included volunteering his God-given musical talents for Christ by leading the worship team and the Christian Jam at Lifelink as well as praising anywhere and everywhere God led him.

Ron sought God's heart to the fullest and his big heart and open doors created true and lasting relationships. His honesty and ability to teach others was also a precious gift. Ron is survived by his wife, Sylvia; his son, Jeromy; his grandchildren Abel, Hudson, Willow, and Grace; and his two brothers.

Ron’s Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at LifeLink Church, 2600 New Hope Road in Grants Pass, OR 97527. Please join us and if you own something tie dyed please wear it.
